Consulting Engineering in Zululand
Inqubeko Consulting Engineers is a Consulting Engineering practice established in Zululand (Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal) region in 2005, concentrating on civil and structural engineering as well as project management. The company was established by Mr. Freek Pretorius (Pr. Eng.), a former director of VGC Consulting Engineers in Richards Bay. In 2007 Mr Jaco Claase (Pr Tech Eng) joined the company as a director concentrating on Structural and Civil Engineering projects. The company is managed from offices situated at 5 Paul Avenue, Empangeni.
Mr. Pretorius has been involved in numerous projects in the Zululand area since 1990 and has extensive experience in various fields of Civil Engineering as mentioned under "specialist fields". Mr Claase has been working in the industrial environment since 1996, being involved in numerous structural projects at Bayside Aluminium, Hillside Aluminium (Both in BHP Billiton Stable), Exxaro KZN Sands (Presently TRONOX KZN Sands), RBM, as well as various domestic and smaller industrial projects.
